Your dream House...

dream House 2014

Architects design houses for all kinds of people (and animals) in all kinds of places.

You are the architect. What does your dream House look like? Where on Earth (or space) is your house? What shape would it be and would it be taller than the trees? How many people (and animals) live there? How many rooms would be in your house? Where would they sleep, eat, play? Use your imagination to make your dream House the most amazing house ever!

(Architects make many drawings called "blueprints.")

During our Spring Break write a sentence or two about your dream House. Describe your dream House and what makes it the best ever.

Attention ALL students!

What does this have to do with Art, you might be saying. First we all listen to music and most likely have Cd's at home. Somebody, an artist just like us, had to draw or paint or photograph the cover. Also as our beans are growing we could draw them. 

So... try this at home. Ask Mr. Griffies how!

Here you will find information on Google's Doodle contest.

When you doodle you draw a picture and sometimes have you ever used your name as a guideline or a shape? Google does this on special occasions and always uses the letters in their name to start.

Google wants you to design or wants you to come up with a new way to use the letters of their name. They would like to see your doodle showing what you would invent to help the world. What would you like to invent?

You must use the proper forms and have a parent signature. All of the forms are at Google's website at the link above.
